The South London Comic & Zine Fair makes a welcome return this year. The fair, which in previous years has been curated by creators such as Gareth Brookes, will this year be helmed by Rebecca K. Jones, Peter Morey, and Chloe Starling!

If you're an ardent fan of small press and self-published comics, you'll recognise those names but for those of you who are perhaps new to the scene (like me) here's a quick guide!

Rebecca K Jones is the creator of Cat Disco and Boomerang (both extremely popular titles on the Small Press scene. Rebecca also created Midnight Feast, for which she won Observer/Faber Graphic Short Story Prize in November last year. Oh, and she designed this year's flyer for the fair, along with Peter!

Peter Morey has just completed Endswell, his excellent long-form comic Endswell, which began in 2018 and has encompassed five volumes. If you want to take a deep dive into Peter's work, you can get the complete Endswell box set.

Chloe Starling won the Manga Jiman Award in 2020 for her illustration work. Like many self-published creators, Chloe creates in her spare time, when she's not being an academic librarian! This year, Chloe will be running the adult library, designed to give visitors a quiet space, read some comics and take a breather.
